We celebrated an 80th birthday party here, and it was absolutely the perfect venue to do so. I want to offer specific praise to our waiter Josh, who did an outstanding job. He greeted us as soon as my mom and I arrived to set up the private room - providing a place to put the gifts, suggesting that he could remove the cake from the fridge now to allow it to come to temperature by the end of the meal, coordinating candles, and immediately asking if he could mix or pour us a drink while we waited for the rest of the party to arrive. Once the party got into full swing, I don't think a single one of us wanted for anything the entire time...

I recently visited Bonterra for the first time and what a great spot! The wine list is unparalleled with over 200 wines by the glass. The food, drinks, service and ambiance were all top notch. What a spectacular concept in an historical , restored church, the owner John Duncan is on hand the guide you through you dining adventure. He puts his personal touch on every aspect of the business. Don't miss the signature Fried Lobster Tail, Crab Cakes and Double Wood Fired Filet Mignon.

Let me start off by saying this place is amazing! I planned a Surprise Dinner in their wine cellar. I was able to work with their events coordinator Melanie who was amazing! Very professional, knowledgeable and swift. She was able to answer all of my questions in a timely fashion and help accommodate my request! The food was amazing and so was the ambiance. I would give this restaurant and Melanie 10 stars if I could!!!

Nothing short of fantastic! It was restaurant week, so I started with the lamb brochettes. I was stuck between that and the cucumber avocado soup, which also sounded good, but ended up with the lamb. It was tender, flavorful and the sauces were unique, but they paired well with the lamb. Then I, as well as everyone in my party got the filet Mignon...

Everything we ordered was delicious! First course: I ordered the Warm Brie- Roasted Garlic, Wildflower Honey, Sea Salt, Wood-Grilled Naan. My husband ordered the PEI Mussels - Lump Crab Meat, Coconut & Sweet Chili Broth, Toasted Baguette. Both were fantastic!!! The broth of the mussels was so good that the waiter offered to give us extra bread so we could "sop up" the remaining broth. This completely endeared him to us....
